For as much as everyone talks about how fast Chad is it seemed like he could not get out of his own way in Phoenix. Last year if James had been slow like that Chad would have blown by him. Something is up with Chad. Not sure if it’s the Kawi or if he was hurt before they went down. Maybe James is in his head and he can’t pass him. Just did not seem right that he followed in James’s tracks for 4+ laps and then when he does pass him they make contact. Why not pass James in a straight or in a corner without traffic?

Seriously, I think Reed is so mental about Stewart that whenever he is around him on the track he locks up and can't pass him, even if he is faster. Reed just gets behind Stewart and then weird s**t seems to happen.
Maybe its me, but I thought it was very interesting that Reed got as bad as a start as Stewart and then followed him around for a while. Although it didn't look like a take out move, it looked more like Stewart turned down on Reed and he had no where to go.
I still can't believe what happened at Phoenix.I agree Chad is definetly wacked out when it comes to James. There was no reason for Chad to be back there with James, whatever the reason was it probably cost him the title this year. If Dungey stays focused he could give James a fight it will be fun to watch

Something surely isn't right. How could Reed ride like he did out of the country this winter, and come back to the US, the most important races and not be any better than mid pack. I think he was laying back looking for a good place to take Stewart out knowing he had no chance at winning the race or the championship. And they crashed together before he had the chance to make the move on purpose. He has said it himself, "I'd take him (Stewart) out any chance I get".
