The 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross series wrapped up this past weekend at a suprising venue - Lake Elsinore. For anyone who had ridden at the Lake Elsinore facility in the past, most would probably have been a little shocked when it was awarded the final round of the outdoor series. Hard, flat and dusty - it was an OK place to practice but it certainly wasn't national worthy. But, with new owners and a ton of money and man hours invested into the facility, a whole new Elsinore greeted everyone who came out for the race. Elevation changes, loamy(ish) dirt and the longest lap times ever seen at a National greeted the riders as they turned their first laps on the track. Here's a few photos from the day...
