Yeah, Goerke pretty much killed everyone...

While everyone's attention was focused across the pond at the Motocross des Nations in Belgium, there was another race going on this past weekend - the annual Montreal Supercross. Though removed from it's glory days of big name riders and packed houses, it still features some good racing between the usual Canadian and Canadian based American's plus a few extra challengers that always show up. This year they switched things up and offered a "Superfinal" - a race between the top 10 in both the 250 and 450 classes so it gave Matt Goerke a chance to be even more dominant than he's been all season. There was never any doubt through out the weekend that the Florida native and reigning Canadian National and Montreal SX champ was going to be the man to beat as he just looked plain faster than everyone right from the first practice session.
