At the most recent World Vet Championships held at Glen Helen, my buddy Mark and other friends made the trek down to try and beat the Americans at their game. It didn't work out but they had a lot of fun trying to navigate the hills of the Helen. So I called Mark up to get all the details of the trip. Listen in as we talk about his adventure and staying at my house with me gone.

Pot calling the tea kettle black?

Steve, look at you talking about checks and balances with regards to cherrypicking at the World Vets. And when my sorry ass lined up for +30 NOVICE in 2007, who was there with me? Mr. Steve Matthess...former pro with experience racing the 500 AMA Nationals. Tisk tisk... :-)

Yeah, you're right..

I signed up for that class because I just started actively riding again after a long layoff and had no clue how I was going to do. When I went out and went 1-2, I moved myself out the next day. I was actually just going to race the one moto but the class that I did belong in, was coming up too quickly for me to recover! So I actually did the right thing and policed myself. I wish more people would.

How come your buddy knows about the wardrobe in your closet?

Great podcast by the way.

Are you..

Being serious? Because I thought it would make for interesting listening but wasn't sure if anyone else would like to listen to me and my buddy talk about people that no one knows. Thanks for the compliment...
