Thanks to Brett Lee for finding this amazing, incredible video.
Years ago Tim Ferry travelled up to Quebec, Canada to race a supercross, he told me about it a few times but I just wrote it off to a rambling old man talking about how they had to walk uphill to school both ways.
But HERE it is, another Youtube gem.
In the heat race, it's a young Ferry vs the retiring Canadian God, Ross Pederson. Now, you have to put this into context, Ferry was a rising superstar and Rollerball was on his way out. This would be his last year as he simply grew tired of beating down every rider in Canada and went onto moving mountains. Or slaying dragons. I'm not sure.
What would have happened had a 2003 Tim Ferry met a 1988 Ross Pederson? I'm not sure but I know that right after that, my world would be complete.
This video is a heat race and in the main, neither guy wins. But still, two legends of motocross putting their knobbies in the same dirt at the same time.
Simply incredible.

I have a 1981 jersey from Ross Pederson. I wonder where I could find pictures of
him that year on the racing track. I know there was a Suzuki photo shoot of him that
year with this jersey, but I can't find them anywhere. Thanks !!
