Matthes, I walked past you over by the old Holy Schmidt jump and said whats up and high fived you. It was wierd because I didnt see a bunch of people following you asking you for autographs. So really, do a lot of people recognize you or not? Anyway, I love all your old stories about Red Dog and Reed and its really cool to get an insider perspective. Keep it up!!
While at Millville I "observed" that Ferry walked right through the crowd a few times and nobody hassled him for an autograph, or even talked to him. Last year at this time, he would have been mobbed and 10 kids would have wanted his goggles. I guess once a rider retires, the fans don't care anymore. So sad.
